I am happy to report that this is exactly what the book achieves. The book is divided into two volumes and each chapter concentrates on a different system.
The chapters most relevant to neuropathology tumours of the central nervous system, tumours of the pituitary gland, tumours of the autonomic nervous system and tumours of the eye and ocular adnexa are set within volume 2.
The images are plentiful, well selected and well annotated. We all know that there are a huge number of tumours that can metastasize to or involve conventional neuropathology regions, but many of these are not covered in detail in pure neuropathology textbooks.
In my opinion, this latest edition is comprehensive, accessible and up to date. It manages to incorporate a huge amount of molecular detail into the two volumes. Tumors of the Placenta and Gestational Trophoblastic Disease.
