Oct 18, Komal Mikaelson rated it did not like it Shelves: I don't have the words nor the inclination to write how utterly ridiculous this book pile of crap was. It was one and a half hours of my life that I'm never getting back.
Fuck you, book. View 2 comments. Feb 10, D. Vasudevan rated it did not like it. The book which needs to be avoided!! I picked this piece of work due to the author Sudeep Nagarkar's impressive earlier works but little did i know that 'That's the way we met' will never meet my heart. The author didnt mention a single line about how the lead characters met. They are in love from page 0. All through my valentine's week, the boring dating was told and retold like forever P.
If someone wants to pick a Sudeep Nagarkar's book go for 'Sorry you are not my type'. Jan 03, Harsha Vardhan rated it did not like it. Ghanta novel! Absolute crap and I mean it. Jan 05, Ushoshi rated it liked it. Being Nagarkar's second book, it can't be termed excellent.
Yes, it was a decent book with not a great plot. It was just like any other Indian love story. The suspense was constructed beautifully; but who knew the author himself would forget about it soon. Ok, so what are we re Being Nagarkar's second book, it can't be termed excellent.
On the whole, there were few spelling and grammatical errors, which when ignored make it a decent book to read. Nov 26, Tanzeem Akhtar rated it did not like it. Based on review on few sites, i planned to read this stuff. But believe me except a catchy title there is nothing fancy. The story is on simple plot and having very plain narration.
Just one thing that will touch emotionally, is the end. I suggest this only if one has nothing to do, nothing means total void or somebody wants to practice on reading simple language. Apr 04, Anu Thomas rated it it was ok. I think the review that does not just applies to the particular book. But all I see is that every young Indian author writes about Romance and nothing else.
This is yet another teenage love story which does not contain any fresh elements. One time readable. Jul 24, Rituraj Singh rated it it was amazing. I personally liked this book more than the first one, few things left unsaid. For things are mentioned clear and have been explained properly wherever necessary.
A good book to read I would say. Mar 25, Praveen Ankam rated it did not like it. If I strive to put words together for describing this piece of work, then I would have put more effort into it than the author actually did. What can I say about this masterpiece. Should I start with the cliches, the weapon the author chose to kill the readers with. The bland characters that makes you want to pull your hear with every dialogue that comes out of their mouths.
The out of place jokes, that are so bad that I could put some random words out of a dictionary and it would still be funnie If I strive to put words together for describing this piece of work, then I would have put more effort into it than the author actually did. The out of place jokes, that are so bad that I could put some random words out of a dictionary and it would still be funnier than this.
Or the excruciating number of details about how Riya dressed each day, how much make-up she wore, what perfume she had. It reads out like the journal of teenage girl keeping track of the day to day happenings with her boyfriend. But here it is the guy narrating the story and it is just weird listening to him talk like a teenage girl that cannot keep quite about how much in love she has.
I get it that it was real story that happened to the writer, so he went all out with the stupid descriptions about the girl and making her the most perfect woman that ever walked on earth. But I don't get how the readers get so into this story which can also be titled as the 'wardrobe list of Riya', and made it a national best seller.
I cannot state what is wrong and what is right with this book. There are people who like these kind of stories I know it is weird calling it a story, even though it lacks any plot and I cannot mock about this being a waste of time a money for their sake.
But I just can't hold it back.
You the reader might forget that Aadi loves Riya, and that they both are very lucky to have each other. But fear not, cause the author makes sure you will remember it by reminding you at every other page. Seriously guys they are so much in love that I started to think that it is time for the English dictionary to change the meaning of love to their picture.
I'm always on the hate bandwagon on Chetan Bhagat, and though that he has ruined Indian Novels. But now all I hope is that there are more books like Chetan Bhagat's. Sep 07, Karthikraj Raviraj rated it it was ok. I read one of your book earlier i. I didn't like that book and decided not to read any further romantic fiction books. But before giving up, I tried to read one more book of yours and make a proper judgement. But now I am clear, that these type of book doesn't suits me!!
You writing style, editing is fine.
The way you screenplay things, keeping suspense in between to get viewers attention is good. But I feel you are missing the concept of love. There is thin line I read one of your book earlier i. There is thin line between Lust and Love. Somehow, I feel your book are concentrating more on this lust factor than Love. And may be because of that I don't feel the connect? Not sure. This is reason I stopped in between and decided not to read any further.
Sorry for this review. May be it didn't suits me!!
I went in with zero expectations.. And that's saying a whole lot because I have read all kinds of junk. This thought process of new age Indian authors that a Bollywood script can be made into a book and such material caters to a section of audience I went in with zero expectations..
This thought process of new age Indian authors that a Bollywood script can be made into a book and such material caters to a section of audience is damaging. I feel like the author has personally insulted and violated me. This book is one of a kind; it has the power to make you fall out of love. View all 3 comments. Mar 18, Jolly Vohra rated it it was ok. This was the worst book that I can ever read because I absolutely hate the books which have a whole lot of grammatical errors.
And not only this the book was completely drenched in romance which was ughhhhhh Just too much of boring romance, I did not see any real purpose in his writing. I clearly lacks political correctness. So disappointed with the author. Waste of time and energy at best! Anyway, it's going to test the patience of reader in you! Nov 08, Zara rated it it was ok. Well, I would say it was good, thousand times better than the first one.
I am really glad that I read this one. Dec 13, Shweta B rated it liked it. Mar 13, Brinda rated it it was amazing. Just an awesome book I have ever read. Content was an amazing. The way story narrated was absolutely amazing. I had just finished my reading in 7 hours in one shot. Nov 02, Ibrahim Moosa rated it did not like it. Total shit Do some homework Sudeep. Mar 02, Amith Ghosh rated it it was ok Shelves: Really the book bore a stuff which is absolutely meaningless.
No plot, author is least bothered about the concept of the book May be, the author would have initiated the tag line " for the romance and love freaks" along with the title. Does he think the romance is all what Indians expect from Indian authors Sarcastically, one thing what the author wants to prove to the reader is that he knows each and every road on Mumbai and that is all Really the book bore a stuff which is absolutely meaningless.
Sarcastically, one thing what the author wants to prove to the reader is that he knows each and every road on Mumbai and that is all he is good at..

The story of Aditya and Riya moves further with different twists and turns by virtue of destiny in it…. Now my Positive viewpoints: This is the second novel of Sudeep Nagarkar, who has done a good job and justification to this love story.
He has explained the beauty of Manali, Rohatang Pass and other places. Also a lavish Punjabi wedding is a very well explained phase of the story. Some suggestive points: This is just a suggestion…. Final words: Overall if asked I would say He has written that so well, but this time I am quite disappointed. The Story has nothing different. Try to be Nicholas Sparks is far away with such dramas. Not a bit of interest it has created in me while reading it. Moreover to this, it is a epitome of Typographical and editing errors, that ever have seen in any book from Random House Publication.
Also, the grammar is poor, or more correctly could be defined as worst. This ruined the whole of fun, I thought, if I read something from him. Not a bit close to a normal drama. Waste of time at all. For me it deserves:
