The in-between world where time had no power over reason. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. This book is an awesome tribute to his love for Laurelyn. A Different Blue 4 of 6. Better When He's Bad, Part 02 of I can't wait for the third installment.

They have a magical honeymoon, and then return home, to spend their first Christmas as a married couple with his family. I really love Margaret McLachlan. She is an amazing, kind, loving mother in law.
She gives excellent advice, and cracks me up with all her talk about "nookie. They deal with their problems as a team, and don't let anyone or anything get in the way of their happiness. They have come a long way since book one. Especially Jack Henry.
I have loved seeing his transformation from the ultimate bachelor, to dreamy, swoonworthy husband. There is nothing more beautiful than Jack Henry in love! He has finally found the woman that completes him. I have really enjoyed the journey of Jack Henry and Laurelyn falling in love. They are one of my all time favorite couples! Can't get much better than a sexy, gorgeous, romantic Aussie, and his American sweetheart! I adored the epilogue, and felt this series was completed to perfection!
D -Her hands find mine so she can intertwine our fingers. She squeezes them into a tight fist and watches my eyes as I enter her. You're what my hopes and dreams are made of. And all mine. I can't believe I get to call her mine forever. You changed my everything.
I want her to see all of me. I couldn't help myself from falling in love with this woman. When she took my hand, I willingly gave her my whole life. Beauty from Pain was something special and the following books have not lived up to it in my opinion. To be fair, I am not one for the lovey-dovey happily together romances, I love intrigue and angst. That preference fits perfectly with the first book but not books 2 and 3.
Big Surprise! Not really she gets knocked up. Like every other book in NA with a marriage plot where one character wants a baby and the other doesn't. They continue with their boring, cheesily happy married life and basically live happily ever after.
Now I make it sound like I hated this book, but I didn't. I maintain that Georgia Cates is a fantastic author and I would happily read any of her other books, and will probably reread Beauty from Pain in the future, but I felt like I already read this plot in other NA romances. To me, this book tied up loose ends that did not need tying. View all 16 comments. Nov 25, Jacqueline rated it it was ok Shelves: Now, I love epilogues, but when they go on for hours then my excitement seriously droops.
I've even been known to skim read smutty scenes - there's only so many times I can read about them exploding together in perfect harmony before my eyes start rolling. And they were rolling away reading this I'm afraid for this, the third in the series about Laurelin and Jack Henry comprised smut, various run ins with toxic exes, smut, more smut, awkward conve Meh And they were rolling away reading this I'm afraid for this, the third in the series about Laurelin and Jack Henry comprised smut, various run ins with toxic exes, smut, more smut, awkward conversations with the MIL, even more smut interwoven with a lesson in gynecology and a splattering of bodily excretions.
And Jack Henry was so much sexier to me before he was so thoroughly pussy trained. Just sayin' While I enjoyed finding out about their family life, a decent, shorter epilogue would've been just fine for me. Sweet and saccharin but perhaps not for the squeamish this one. However…I found this last book a little bit boring. I found myself seriously struggling to continue reading at some parts. If you haven't read this series I highly recommend to start it as soon as possible ; View all 14 comments. Aug 09, Cinta rated it it was amazing. I can't wait to re-read it all again: I hope Ben and Chloe get a story Review to come Jun 18, Susan Gold rated it really liked it.
I can't wait for the third installment. I loved the first two books. Feb 05, Anne OK rated it liked it Shelves: Enough already! I had high hopes that Georgia Cates would give this the final book in the series a little more depth and some decent dialogue interaction between Jack and Laurelyn. The alternating POVs allow readers to delve into the thoughts of both characters which was a real plus since so much time was spent on the bedroom theatrics.
Still both characters are fun-to-read and their chemistry is off the cha Enough already! Still both characters are fun-to-read and their chemistry is off the charts.
The plot was good but it could have been excellent. Readers will be happy that these two get their happily-ever-after including a very well-done epilogue five years into their future. Feb 08, Kerry rated it it was ok. Thank God that's done. Authors need to decide when to call it quits, not every series needs to be a trilogy.
I'm glad they got their HEA, but honestly didn't need the play by play of their baby saga. Also, Lauralynn, get over yourself, your husband has a p Thank God that's done. Also, Lauralynn, get over yourself, your husband has a past you are very well aware of, deal with it! I forced myself to finish this one but it was a struggle at times. It didn't suck, I was just over them about half way through. Sep 07, Anastasia rated it liked it Shelves: So I finished the series. I maintain that the last two books should have been condensed into one and a lot of that sex filler, as hot as it was, should have been cut out.
What makes this series so wonderful is how much we know that Jack Henry loves L. That is why you should read this series. It's amazing, and who does not want be loved like that?? Also, I have to admit the author can write some hot scenes!
In this book, the drama gets back to moderately realistic. It became really drawn out. Some of the things the author left some things unresolved that I really wish would have been addressed: I would have loved to read abut her letting it all go, or coming up with some strategy. We get a glimpse of what she does but not really any detail. View 1 comment. Jun 08, C. Brown rated it it was amazing.
Coming Jan 28th, Jun 02, Charmaine Stephens rated it it was amazing Shelves: That's the first thing that comes to mind when describing this book. It truly was perfection from start to finish. It had that even scale of balance that I love between telling a wonderful heartfelt story, yet still had amazing hot sex! The sex was never overdone, or not enough….
It was just right as it was. I love Jack Henry. And by the time you g Perfection! And by the time you get to "Beauty from Love" you see how he's evolved from the sexy wealthy wine vineyard playboy to the charming, loving, protective husband. He always did the right thing I felt in here or said just the thing needed at the right time. I adored him! I always felt like i could relate to her. And she's one of my fav female book characters because she's not one of those whimsy, whiny, sit in the background type of characters.
She always stands up for what she believes in. She stays true to herself. I thought a few times in here she jumped to a few wrong conclusions too quickly concerning jack henry and his past women. But then again I don't blame her! And then to see how far they've come with Laurelyn and Jack Henry. Jack Henry's Mother Margaret is another character I love too. She seems like such an amazing mom.
She like the matriarch of the McLachlan family. Larelyn's parents on the other hand disgusted me majority of the time how they treated her. They've really never been there for her and it looks like that how it'll always be with them. The sex was amazing! Now she'll learn that taking a biker to bed can get a girl dirty in every way. Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club's president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger-a man who isn't afraid to treat her like a real woman. And so when it failed, I lost myself. It changed me. He changed me. I went down with the ship. My soul, burnt embers in the aftermath. The fire of him ravaged it all. He burned me. Broke me. She was headed straight for Hollywood. Destined for silver screen greatness. She was a glorified waitress in the skies. But one day, there he sat, gazing intently at her, ready to set everything ablaze once more. Dante wanted her. She was breaking him.
After all, love is war. Breaking Him, Part 01 of Breaking Him, Part 02 of Breaking Him, Part 03 of When I as a reader, I fall in love with a couple, I will often imagine how their future will play out in my mind after the authors story ends; so after Beauty from Surrender I had all kinds of thoughts as to how the HEA would turn out, so I'm excited that the author agreed that we needed more. What I loved about this story, was that the HEA is not always as easy as having happiness and love, and the struggles and events along the way can challenge a couple and their bond in ways they did not see coming.
It was very realistic for the past "12 disciples" of Jack Henry to rear their presence in his life, and believe in their necessity in his present and future, as if his wife did not exist. Some interesting plot twist of past indiscretions truly tested Jack Henry and Laurelyn, and I enjoyed the differing points of view and reactions from our couple.
It was so sweet to see how it all played out and to see their lives several years down the road. All in all, this has been an enjoyable series, and I'm almost sad to see it come to an end. One person found this helpful. Every woman deserves a Jack Henry! This book is an awesome tribute to his love for Laurelyn.
His love for her is obvious from the beginning to the end of this book. It is wonderful to spend the first year of their married life with them.
You wonder how someone that is as filthy mouthed as he is can come up with the absolutely heartfelt things that he says. Just another example of how much he loves Laurelyn. No spoilers in this review, but just know that you will see the couple go through all kinds of different struggles.
As you read more of their story, you will fall in love with this couple all over again. In addition to the story, I very much enjoyed the epilogue that brought us a bit of the future of the couple. Since this is the last book in the series, that glimpse was the perfect ending.
Georgia Cates once again outdoes herself with this book.
This entire series is one of my favorites. Five Stars Ms. True, there isn't much substance to speak of and this installment could have easily been inserted into the second book Still the story gave me a happy "sigh" moment. I love Jacks' complete devotion to Laurelyn who wouldn't? Oh the lessons he's learned!
Absolutely priceless humor and Ms. Cates delivers the anxiety and stress of the situation with a little bit of comic relief so perfectly well. I loved all the supporting characters, but none more than Jacks mother, Margaret.
She was simply FABulous! Such a fantastic romance Outstanding Ms. Well told. See all reviews.
