However, her bullying overbearing father had other ideas. She was to be married to the billionaire Alexos Manetas a man most women would have been over the moon to call their husband.
Handsome, smart, funny and considerate the perfect man, except that her role was to be a convenient wife, the woman to produce his children while he continued his playboy ways. Now six years later she had once more found herself on his island as part of research she was conducting.
Alexos had still been furious at the woman who had ditched him so many years ago, only now it was he who had the upper-hand and the motivation to use it against her, to punish her for her past actions.
Can Grace survive another domineering man in her life, and more importantly does she really want to escape? How can I use this format?

I have read a lot and will continue reading books of Elizabeth Lennox and I have to say I enjoy very much every one of them, but I don't review them online or anyother way.
The way she made this particular woman develop in her book was the reason why I've decided to give a review to the book.
The wife runs away from the husband, nothing new there. He wasn't abusive or anything, that was what made me think "then He is a billionaire, bussy man "Ok Part of that was right but the back story of that woman was so well done from my point of view in this time in my life, that actually made me stop and read slowly because I understand in a way what she has been through.
The writing as always is lovely and I didn't see any grammar mistakes or anything of that sort. I just trully loved this story and the way things ended where better for me, even when I knew what was comming: View all 3 comments. Nice Story. Spoiled by errors in the book Really like the story nice summer read Jason has dark blue eyes yet in the epilogue the twin girls are born with Brown eyes like there father!!!
Aug 24, Bukcrz rated it it was amazing Shelves: I had to check to make sure which company published this book because it has the signature of an HP book: We met I had to check to make sure which company published this book because it has the signature of an HP book: We met the heroine in a state where she is standing on her own tenuous yet hard earned independence and enjoying a job she loves.
In came the hero who uses his power to bring her back under his proverbial thumb. She even fought battles on her own without the hero physically backing her up. Yes, she did have to run to the H to get his OK but I liked the fact that solutions to her troubles came from her own thinking and effort.
I love this heroine and was really rooting for her HEA. She went into every conflict battling her own demons yet came out stronger. The hero, to his credit did not hover over the heroine and micromanage her daily life yet constantly tells her things that helped her blossoms as a woman.
It is through this that gave the heroine ample room to grow on her own and find her wings. Unfortunately, he is that typical HP hero that ignores the heroine right after and before using her body well. If you love a romance story, go ahead and give this a try. Chances are, you will love this as well.
A romance tale about misunderstandings and personal growth. The heroine spent a lifetime being a doormat.
After marrying the hero she begins to grow and emerge from that. I liked seeing her take on her stepmother and stepsister. The hero.
He was a mix of alpha and beta. Very wealthy.
Not dark or edgy. He was a good guy. He defended the heroine against her steprelatives. The romance took a back seat to the heroine's personal growth. In fact I thought this was more the heroine's journey from being a A romance tale about misunderstandings and personal growth. In fact I thought this was more the heroine's journey from being a doormat and the romance was just a small part of the story.
The heroine rarely talks to the hero which allows misunderstanding. She does all her growth on her own. An ok read. View 2 comments.
Young bride runs away and starts to develop a backbone. Elements of verbal abuse from family are disheartening. Communication, praise, empowerment and the fabulous Sasha allow a wallflower to bloom.
Quick, light read, little emotional entanglement. BTW alot of the harassment comes from heroine's red hair so why's the cover a blond? I have read so many books by Elizabeth Lennox. This was the worst. The female character talk about herself n always in her head.
Didn't enjoy it at all.
Can't believe i finished reading it!! It was ok I really wish the female lead in this story wasn't so mousy. She should have gotten her backbone a lot sooner.
Short, good predictable story. Feb 02, Laura rated it liked it Shelves: Sophie Randal loves her husband Jason more than anything. When her bitch step-sister tells her that Jason only married her out of pity, she leaves before he can't her worse when he leaves.
When he tracks her down and drags her home, she decides she is going to find and do everything in her power to make him fall in love with her. But her step-sister wants Jason's money and step-mommy dearest will do whatever she can to put wedge between the couple. Good thing Jason refuses to let Sophie go.
I rea Sophie Randal loves her husband Jason more than anything.
I read this book a while back and when I saw it in my library I just couldn't help myself. I know I have my over sized reading list but I have been dying to read an Elizabeth Lennox book again, so here we are. To read the entire review please visit http: Jan 29, Melissa rated it liked it Shelves: This book was enjoyable enough. It was good to see the heroine come into herself, learn to stand up for herself. I liked how the hero fought for her, but I didn't like how he was constantly working and never seemed to be around.
He knew there were issues in his marriage, it would have been nice to see him fight for his wife.
Sometimes it seemed as if he were mocking her. Using sex and their chemistry as a weapon. Although at times I wanted yell at Sophie to stand up for herself and get bullied by her stepmom and stepsister.
I understand her self esteem run deeper from her father treatment. I was so happy when she put a stop to those two! Yei for Sophie and Jason! Lost and found! A great tale of bravery, self awakening and love.
