Moody, Jr. Life after Life is one of the earlier books written published in about near-death experiences and this is a companion book which explores this topic a little further than his first volume.
The following topics are covered in this volume: New elements: Since I have read a great number of books on this topic I did not find this book compelling or enlightening; nevertheless, for those looking for one of the first books dealing with the topic of near-death experiences may find this book interesting.

I couldn't have dealt with the death of my son without having read this book. The author is a medical doctor who tells, case by case, the stories of patients who have had near-death experiences. I believe that Dr.
Moody was the first person to write about this topic. This is the most important book I have ever read and it has had a profound effect on my life, giving me great peace of mind. I had read this when it first came out and have lost my original copy so I got it on Kindle to read again.
I wanted to read about persons having a near death experience that weren't all Christians. I thought I remembered some cases that I didn't find, but what I did find reinforced my thinking about life after death. Not all persons go to a beautiful heaven.
Some go to a holding area where they are trying to contact their family back on earth to warn them. The book also reinforces my belief that everyone has an everlasting soul that contains all of their life experiences that goes with them when they die.
One person found this helpful. Dr Moody research many cases of near death experiences and confirms that death is not the end. A book that brings faith, hope and love. Confirming so many mediums view of the after life. Easy to read, good book. In the original book the NDEs were fascinating and the discussion seemed more like that of a researcher, but this book was a few added odds and ends that I imagine didn't fit into the original and so not wanting to not use them they arrived in this book.
It was pretty good. Written by a doctor so it's a little dry. It will make you want to think more about the afterlife, it will make you ask nor questions. GOing back and It was a very difficult read. GOing back and forth from life to death and then back to life again..
Too confusing. The interviews were interesting, but also a lot of fluff of no interest to anyone who is not going into the business of being a Near Death Experience researcher. Also, why on earth include yet another printing of Plato's famous Parable of the Cave, which is available in any survey of Plato's works or histories of philosophy.
