Maybe it's just me, I like books by Edward Bernays and how he clearly let's you know when companies and publich figures are BS-ing you.
I found a lot of that in this book, the BS-ing. It's funny how sure one can be when they have made it to the top, that they feel they can defy all conventions, and you should too, since it has worked for them.
However, I can really see this book helping the lost. This is Damn Good Advice.
The book encourages risk, confidence, and understanding people. It is an important read that will change the way you look at marketing and advertising. This is possibly one of the best books that I have read. Written by one of the original "mad men", this is inspiring for anyone that is creative.
If you try to argue with his logic, what can you say? It didn't work for him? No, you can't say that. Whether it works for you is your business.
